Our Speaker is Professor William Kresse AKA"Professor Fraud",from Governors State University will bring to life the need to utilize ethics in our lives. Both the professional and personal lives require a society to have a strong set of ethical norms in order to stay a society.
Mr. William Kresse joined the CBPA as Assistant Professor of Accounting in August 2014. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois, College of Law, his M. S. in Accounting at the University of Illinois at Chicago and his B.B.A. in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. Mr. Kresse has also completed postgraduate studies in Accounting and Economics at the University of Illinois. He is a licensed attorney and holds several certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA); CPA/ Certified in Financial Forensics; Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE); and Certified Forensic Accountant.
Mr. Kresse has taught 26 different courses both at the undergrad and graduate levels including Auditing, Intermediate, Managerial & Advanced Accounting, Taxation, Government and Nonprofit Accounting, Economics and Business Law, to name a few. He is well known as “Professor Fraud”, having recently been named one of the top 15 forensic accounting professors in the United States. At GSU, Mr. Kresse teaches Business Law I & II.

Our meeting scheduled times are we start with a Board Meeting at 5:15 with a social time for the members starting at 6 pm. We would like to have the food served at 6:30 pm with our speaker starting at 7: 15 pm. We normally always finish before 9pm.
